Digitalization for Good & ESG Reporting Standards
– Bridging the Gap for a Sustainable Future

In a world grappling with declining trust in institutions, rising inequality, and societal polarization, the Summit of the Future aims to rethink and reshape global multilateralism. A key expected outcome of this Summit is the Global Digital Compact, a framework that sets out principles to advance an open, free and human-centered digital future that contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals and universal human rights.

Our joint event Digitalization for Good & ESG Reporting Standards – Bridging the Gap for a Sustainable Future will delve into how digitalization can drive positive change and how robust ESG reporting standards can ensure these changes are sustainable and accountable.

The first part of our event will focus on the transformative power of digitalization. By unlocking the potential of innovative digital technologies, it’s possible to bridge the digital divide, foster innovation for good and enhance data-driven decision-making.

The second part aims to address the sustainability issues highlighted by the UN Global Compact and the Communication on Progress (CoP) tool, offering a comparative analysis of European and North American reporting standards. How does the CoP fit into the implementation of the CSRD? What are the challenges for the private sector across the Atlantic?
