Join the UN Global Compact Finland Roundtable Series on Business and Human Rights
This autumn, we look forward to bringing together a group of peers for meaningful dialogue, as UN Global Compact Finland launches a series of exclusive roundtable discussions focused on key business and human rights topics. Designed for companies with advanced human rights practices, the series offers a confidential setting to share experiences, challenges, and strategies.
Themes of discussion:
-
Supplier management
-
Contractual clauses
-
Meaningful stakeholder engagement
Each two-hour session will take place in person in Helsinki from 9.00-11.00 on the following dates: 9 September, 9 October, and 4 November 2025.
To support open dialogue while ensuring compliance with legal boundaries, a competition lawyer will be present at all sessions.
The working language (Finnish/English) will be chosen based on the group’s needs.
As seats are limited, participants will be selected based on the following criteria:
-
A public commitment to respecting human rights
-
A publicly available description of the company’s human rights due diligence process
-
A list of the company’s most salient identified human rights impacts
-
Set targets for human rights and corresponding follow-up actions
Applications close on 20 August 2025.
Please note: Only one person per company may apply. Submitting an application does not guarantee participation. All applicants will be informed of the outcome after the application period.
